Hi all,

Sorry for the delayed response. I recieved my letters a couple weeks ago and they were pretty vanilla. Wih the exception of my GS 83 NYPD DAO, the letters only confirmed the model and date of manufacture. Relative to my GS 83, they referenced the fact that it was issued to NYPD. In all instances, they were kind enough to include a complimentary manual.

As an emerging collector of Six Series. I believe maintaining a good record of the history/background is not only part of the fun but also a relevant part of collecting. Heck, I would be willing to pay more for additinal details/background and my gut tells me that I am not alone. At any rate, I am hopeful Ruger sees the value of providing additional information in the letters going forward to help build the collectability and nostalgia of their product.
