Yes, Bill Hightower will live on in my memories. He traded with some of best known Ruger collectors in the South, even before my time in the early years of the RCA! Brass Frame/Lee

Man that is not good news the Florida boys were great guys .......l certainly enjoyed Bill and Mike at the shows....
The gun show in the sky is getting some great guys......see you guys again someday ......

Bill and his buddy Mike Womble were fixtures at the display shows for so many years, I can't remember when I met them. They'd travel from Florida to the shows,, share knowledge, friendship, good natured ribbing, and in general,, were just people.
I hadn't heard of Bill's passing until I saw this.
Dern,, I'm gonna miss him. And I too considered him a good friend.
Rest in Peace buddy!

Sorry to hear about Bill. He had some very nice displays and always a friendly guy. He will be dearly missed.

I also have fond memories of Bill and a 3 digit 41 that had a consecutive sn sister in Oh we were trying to pair up. Loved the stash! RIP Bill
