The only thing we really have available from time to time is the Magtech Cowboy Action loads, but they're the same price as the 44 Magnum. 44Special is therefore a caliber that is only interesting for reloaders, because then you can run a 44 mag revolver at ~$200-$230/1000 versus the $550-$650/1000 for factory 44 magnum ammo.
