Re: Banned from Ruger forum
I figured I'd wake up this morning to a ban for my opinion. So far I haven't. All the more reason we need to make this forum more active. If we let it die, so does the history of what we cherish. I'm as guilty as anyone of not posting here because of the inactivity. Lets all be more proactive in sharing here.

I made my statement on there about Troy, thanks for following up on it, Frank.
Makes no sense why they act like that. I’ve seen some that deserve a ban for how caustic they are on the forum but yet they remain and a real collector like Troy gets kicked. Weird people, likely bullied as kids and this is how they get back at life.

Troy, sorry to hear what happened just when I was starting to almost get to know you and the nice stuff Taryn is doing with your displays, I know I use d to love to help my wife Laura with her displays with the RCA many years ago, but today now, its a whole new ball game , and I miss that , as I can no longer get round to the collector/display shows, hell I do not even get to my OGCA anymore cannot drive very far and my wife is way off the charts now with her dementia/alzheimers for the past year and a half, and I take care of her , at home, here and get little or NO help from any of the family, main reason, I have not been around, but oh well, I signed on for this going on 60 years ago, Feb 12 th 1966,,,,,,,,,so good luck, wish you well ,just found out about this tonight after I put her to bed.........and take care Sir

I am a member of Ruger.net but not .com. Looking at the two I just thought the .net seemed like a better run site. I have noticed that a few of my posts on .net have been copied exactly and posted on .com under a different user name. It's obvious the .com is not guarded or run well and is exposing it's members to some issues. The .net site may be the same since they are so similar.
I'm in agreement, let's just increase the traffic here and call it good.

Being on both, I have seen it on both. .net does seem to be more proactive in banning thieves, and if you have any questions/concerns, a quick DM to a moderator will get you answers.Rugerokie wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 8:17 am I am a member of Ruger.net but not .com. Trolls and scammers are never welcome and its good to keep track of these things. Thank you for sharing this and thanks for everyone for keeping the community clean.
Re: Banned from Ruger forum
Unbelievable and very disappointing in RugerForum.com.
The list of people banned is turning into a “who’s who” of Ruger collectors.
My Gosh!! banning Don Findley???? One of the most knowledgeable Ruger historians we have! Rods collection is amazing with his experience and knowledge! Troy’s displays are a tribute to some of the most collectible, beautiful and rare pieces out there…..even taking them to the NRA show!
These are the kind of collectors a forum should go out of its way to attract!! They have each gone out of their way to help collector's and lift the entire Ruger community up.
I’m a nobody, but have a checkbook and a voice and the .com forum will no longer get my check or endorsement! ROCS will be my go to forum now!
The gestapo owner of that site will surely ban me as I imagine he watches this site.
One last thought….. having seen list after list of serial numbers for 44’s, RSSE, Hawkeyes, Supers etc.?why does the owner of Rugerforum.com keep Bob Campbells list top secret????? It is a dis-service to Ruger 357 collectors and a definite label for a huge ego trip.
I better say goodbye over there
