Low numbered Ruger P94

Seen a Ruger P94 9mm on gunbroker, box, papers, both mags, mag loader, even the cardboard shipper. For whatever reason, I had to have it. Took possession of it today, shot 8 mags through it, flawless as the P series always has been. When I got it home I looked on Ruger's website to see when it was made. Not only was it made in the first year of production (1994), it was number 135! Lowest numbered Ruger I ever owned. I know the P series guns have very little collector value, but I still think it's pretty neat to have such a low numbered gun.

Good for you!! Any three-digit Ruger is a good find and a great item to add to your collection.

P guns are not very collectable. That can be to your advantage. There isn't as much competition when you locate a good one. A lot of these guns went to different police associations in the US and foreign countries. Some with force markings and some not. Low numbered guns always fit in. Good find.

I think it's pretty neat as well and I'm certain that there is someone out there collecting them! Did you not notice the SN at the time of purchase?

I had no idea. I bought it off gunbroker and never even looked at the serial number until I got it home.
