Had a guy on another forum that I frequent send me a PM about the Service Six that I refurbished (the one that is for sale on the Ruger Forum). He said " I don't want to be a jerk, but I don't think you know anything about Rugers or how to sell them" Continuing on he says: " It's not refurbished or restored, it's painted to hide rust rust damage, and the cylinder is pitted badly. It's a beater. It's in poor NRA condition." Then he says, "Sorry for the bad news, and know you can ask what you want for it. I've personally bought about 10 used Rugers pistols for $200-$350, and all were in great shape. So, your price is a oddly unrealistic price at best, or a rip-off at worst. You should rethink the ad."

Background: He has been on that forum for 5 years, only 4 original posts (all to sell something), only replies he has ever made were to bump his for sale posts.

I just smiled and deleted the PM.

That’s funny to think you know nothing about Rugers just shows it takes all kinds to make the word go around. If I remember you showed picks of that gun before you refinished it and it looked good then and great now. Being an old truck driver the internet reminds me of CB radio they can say what they want but we know the truth.

He may not have wanted to be but he really is a JERK

Ron you have forgotten more about Ruger DA revolvers than most know... That guy is what I call a "sexual intellect" or in common language a F-in' know it all.... Does he think you went to the hardware store to get a can of spray paint to hide the ugly on that revolver?
