Joseph Lee Bowman 1925-2009 Joe was a Friend of Sturm, Ruger, trick shooter, fast draw artist, and showman supreme. He taught many "cowboy" actors to shoot and handle a firearm. Joe would come the NRA shows and preform at the Ruger Collector's banquet. A great American.

Joe Bowman Houston TX Those are old model Ruger Blackhawks, "engraved" by Bowman.

I had the pleaser to meet Joe at an NRA annual meeting the year before he passed. I was so impressed I bought some of his videos. He was always glad to talk RUGER and was very knowledgeable about them and his gun handling skills. He was a showman's showman!

Neat pictures Donnie, I got him on some around here someplace in Lauras 'stuff', she wanted me to get Joe and Chief AJ together for a picture at some time, not THAT would have been something!!!

With out his input we make well have never seen the "Vaquero" line of revolvers.
