Re: # 3 Engraving Pattern
Were there any factory engraved #3s? If so I've never heard of one. Would be neat to see one.

Carl Ross has an No.3 action only that has a photo etched nude. I do not believe any complete No.3 rifles etched rifles were made.
Re: # 3 Engraving Pattern
Can you post the patterns you have, or are they copyrighted? Would like to see these patterns, I would like to commission an engraving on a K1a one of these days.X1Ruger wrote:Hi All
The Engraved Action that El Numero Uno speaks of with the Nude Lady I referred to as Lady Godiva was on a No1 Action.
The No3 Action I had was engraved with the Old Man in the Mountain which was/is the NH State Symbol.
These actions are presently being engraved on the opposite side and will being built into rifles by the proud owner I sold them to earlier this year.
I still have the Engraving Patterns that James Triggs used as practice for actions.

Carl,
Thanks for clearing up my confusion on Lady Godiva and a sincere welcome to this "new" group. Our site does not require a host to post pics. You can upload them directly, when you figure it out. It is easy, but not completely straight forward until you figure it out.

Re: # 3 Engraving Pattern
No problem posting, forced me to learn how to upload pics to this site. I was expecting plans on paper when you brought the subject up, not actual engraved plates. Very interesting!
