This Jerred-engraved Single-Six, serial number 38244, was mostly like completed in 1956. It is not listed in Mr. Dougan's book, but it is signed by Jerred in the usual location. I showed it to John in Tulsa and he is going to see if he has anything about it in his records. It is a neat gun and a fine example of an engraved Ruger revolver.

Great seeing you in Tulsa. It is interesting to know that we are still finding Rugers, not previously reported in any books or records! Nice find and great photo. Brass Frame/Lee

Appears to be a fine RSSE from my vantage point. Has there been an in-depth search/inquiry perhaps via Mike fifer's office to determine it's authenticity? Love the grip panels! Suspect it was a special piece, perhaps internal staff acquisition........Just sayin'

Very nice gun. Do you have the box that the gun came in and if so what type of box is it?

Was there ever a final on the Ruger Records search by John Dougan, which you mentioned last fall? I noticed a similar non recorded RSSE over on RugerForum.com this past week..........
