Dose any one know who is providing ruger with the thumb hole stocks that they are using on the 10/22 targets ?

Model 31153 spec sheet says Altamont provided stock.

I was going to say that Altamont was probably the provider. I have put together a couple of 10/22's out of different parts and used Altamont stocks I bought from others. They turned out nice.

Thanks you guys I was curious I just bought a brand new in the box rifle and I've got some good stuff some nice stuff from Altamonte but whoever made this stock on this rifle should be ashamed of their selves and Ruger out to be embarrassed that they put it on the rifle.

David, the last Altamont stocked 10/22 I bought NIB has nice wood and a pretty stock, but the quality of the finish sanding was really disappointing. I was able to smooth it out but was surprised. If it was a common stock, I wouldn't have bought it. Here's a pic of it now.
