Jerry Hertel's
Spanish engraved Ruger Single-Six serial number 7 won the NRA/ROCS Silver Medal #409 at the November 2021 ROCS Tulsa display show. It is one of the first two Single-Sixes, #7 and #8, that Bill Ruger sent to Spain to have engraved. These two Spanish engraved guns were given by Bill Ruger to John Amber, his friend and the Editor of Gun Digest magazine. An extremely rare and beautiful gun! Congrats go out to Jerry!!

Jerry, I am happy to see that you won most all of the awards in Tulsa. You sure had the guns! That run of 5 consecutive numbered Single Sixes need to stay together well into the future. Congratulations again for a wonderful set of early historic guns!

That's just beautiful. Such a nice and rare collection. I just love seeing all the collections you guys have managed to put together over the years. It's a representation of an awful lot of your time and dedication and us newer collectors have nothing but respect for you.
Congratulations on the award as well! Thanks for sharing, Bill.
