30th anniversary belt buckle

Just a bit of trivia. Mr. Bennett who owned Busy Bee gun works was comitioned by Ruger to make these for the 30th anniversary. I'm sure several people have seen these and are somewhat common , but there is something out of the ordinary and quite rare. Can you see what makes it so special.

This one is missing the R trademark.

As you know the ones with the trademark missing are pretty scarce, number I have of them being made was around 140. Does that sound right to you?

Yes, this one is missing the R trademark. As for numbers produced this way I do believe 140 to 150 does sound about right. This picture has the two examples and the Mark 1 Busy Bee made.

I have one of each type,, and a 3rd one,, in an unopened box. It's a "mystery" as to which one it is.
