There's a guy on the Ruger Forum who posed this question to me:

I'm on the lookout for Elmer Keiths #15 Single Six in .32. 6-7 years ago it sold at auction bundled with #15 of one of his double action Six guns, either the Security or Service. Might you know who may have been the buyer?

Any ideas/info?

Thanks

I'd like to know where the #15 Single Six in 22 went. Sold on GunBroker a number of years ago and not surfaced since!

The SN 15 Single Six sold for 18K, incl. buyer premium, at The Elmer Keith Auction held by Martin auctions in San Francisco, March of 2015. Other Keith guns were also on this auction. I won the bid on a non factory engraved Single Six, boxed, with factory stag grips.(that gun was offered immediately after the SN 15 gun) I paid significantly less that that paid for the low number gun, probably because everyone was buzzing about the amount paid for the SN 15 gun.......... I do not recall that anyone knew or admitted knowing the winning bidder of the SN 15 RSS. Martin Auctions sold out to Heritage Auctions. I do not know if I still have that auction catalog any longer..........Splitz
