As some of you know, we lost Chief AJ today. I never met him but considered him a friend and we did have several good phone conversations as well as exchange some nice gifts. Hoka Hey to our fallen friend who now rests with The Great Spirit and his Savior Jesus. Semper Fi Chief!!!

He was a real warrior and promoted the 10/22 beyond any Ruger advertising. His rifles are real treasures to those who own them and continue to perform in many configurations for their owners. He was a true gentleman and I especially remember his speech at the Tulsa banquet a couple years ago. Brass Frame/Lee E

I saw this last night & was saddened to hear it.
I never met him,, yet knew much of his exploits. And the recent articles in our Journal just emphasize even more of what he accomplished.
May he RIP.

I was sad to hear this as well.
I was fortunate enough to have him contact me about the Fall 2021 article.
My hope was that he saw my article on his guns which he did.
I couldn't ask for anything else.
The last email conversation we had was back in October. "Happy 10/22! The best day of the year" he said.
Chief AJ defiantly made my year last year. I will be forever grateful.
may he rest in peace with his beloved wife Corrine.

Cheif AJ was a true pioneer from traditional to modern weapons, though I never had the opportunity to have met him, his exploits brought out the little boy in a good many of us. Chuck's book on him is one I consider important part of my library.

Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!
