As already mentioned several times, the market in my home country has much less to offer than in America. I have to import the rarer models via Germany anyway because I don't want to comment on our wholesaler in Austria. We already pay surcharges of up to 1000 dollars per weapon for the current models. What I would miss, for example, would be a maxi and if I found one in the USA because it is simply not available here, say around 1500 dollars, it would probably cost me between 5000-6000 dollars to bring it to Austria by air freight ,Customs, Exporter and Importer. But of course I would never have seen the gun in real life before, the seller could send me everything from NIB to scrap for a lot of money and I would have no opportunity to complain. Also on the European online stock exchanges, the description is very good than the condition is, because scrap is sold as NIB. This is my big problem with collecting Ruger guns outside of the US.
