The stock looks vaguely like something that came out of my wife's smoothie blender. They did this on purpose?

Davidson's actually did that color. its called Davidson's camo with the black and red digital.
That is definitely a prototype on auction though as the Davidson's gun had the rear sight style of the compact model and a Hi Viz front sight.
Don't remember if the Davidson's gun had a red/black digital buttplate or not.
