1968 M77 question

I'm helping someone to sell a m77 in 308 that has a 3 digit serial number which to my knowledge makes it a 1968 production. Just wondering if there is anything special good or bad that I need to know when listing it. The rifle is in nearly ANIB condition and I'm not certain if it was ever fired. Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Toby

Well being boxed with high condition and then a 3-digit serial number, which certainly adds value. I will let the rifle guys chime in as to how much.

FT44, Thanks for the reply. I misspoke, I do not have the original box, but it is in "as new" condition. I apoloze for my error.

That is ok, the 3-digit s/n and "as new" condition still increases its value.

I saw one sell in Tulsa high 3 digit definitely not NIB nor even close....sold to a dealer for $900....I am sure he thought there was money left in the deal or he wouldn't have bought it.....YMMV
