Looking for the value of a Ruger I bought new in Dec-- 74 It was shipped with only one cylinder 22 long rifle. I understand. there was a limited production. of approx. 2400 and were marked with a star on the frame. This Ruger is in the box like new. and has been fired only 25 or 30 times. Could anyone help me with the estimated value. thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum!
I value a NIB gun $750.00 to $850.00 and a LNIB at $700.00 to $800.00.
For those prices the gun should have box & shipper plus all paper work that goes with it.

Good Hunting,
Terry

I'm not sure what Ruger used for a shipper on those long hinged boxes that were either white or brown. Might have only had a brown cardboard box for shipping five at a time or so. It is strange that nobody has ever seen a shipper.
Now that I think about it, the earliest 10-1/2" .44 Super Blackhawk boxes (also brown hinged) did have a shipper, but those were split up the middle of the top (easy to throw away). Maybe the earliest NM 9-1/2" Single-Sixes were the same?
