I ended up with this 77/44 in full camo. I've seen plenty of the camo stock/stainless variations... but haven't been able to turn up any info on it, or find another example on the web like this. Judging from the end label I assume its factory original and would believe the "FC" portion of the K77/44-RSPFC to imply "Full Camo". What say the experts??

I would say you picked up a pretty scarce M77/44, my guess a distributor special. Hopefully someone will have information on who and how many.

Nice find! I remember a skeleton stocked M77 in camo selling a few years ago. Seller said it was a prototype. Sold for over $4k.

Thanks guys, I can’t find a shred of info on it anywhere. I have Chads pocket reference but didn’t find anything in there… but my book is a dozen or so years old.

I would suggest getting a Ruger LOA, it's only $10, doen't take that long to get it and they should tell you who it was originally shipped to as well as the other info dealing with that model number (07411)

That was a regular production model. Probably not many made though.

Thanks to all.
I’ll put a call in to ruger tomorrow and see how it goes. I wonder if they do in person letters… I’m only about 35 minutes from their Newport facility M-F.
