need help identifying some engraving

On the top strap of a Maximum (of course) In script This "Buds" For You .....below it SMTC - 1983 Anyone got any ideas? Not interested in who did it but would love to know what it means. Thanks for lookin', Jack.

Thought so but their establishment date is in the 2000's.......but kinda makes sense with "This "BUDS" For You" Thanks...
