1971 RDA-34
1971 RDA-34
I recently bought my first Security-Six. It was made in August of 1971 and shipped to Canada. What is the chance of finding the correct box? Can someone post a pic of the box I need to be on the lookout for? Thanks
Re: 1971 RDA-34
The correct box shoud be a white, one piece box with the inside cut to the shape of the revolver.

Thanks Ron. I don’t recall seeing a box like on eBay so I’m guessing it will be hard to find. Maybe I’ll run across one. Thanks again!

Re: 1971 RDA-34
Now you need a #8 Tyler T-Grip to set it up properly!
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...
Re: 1971 RDA-34
Congrats on finding that extra clean sample and YES, a Tyler T Grip works great on all the Six Series double actions.

I believe a box sold for $10 or less on ebay recently. They do show up from time to time.

I actually found a box on eBay shortly after this. I think it cost me around $20. I was happy to find it.
