In 1949 an individual could purchase a Ruger .22 pistol direct from the factory. This image is a page from a book I'm working on rare Ruger .22 pistols.

I found one and filled it out and damned if they didn't ship me a new in the salt cod box gun......
Man that was an AWESOME DREAM......I do have one but never tried maybe I will make a copy and mail it in.....RR
