I don't know if he is still with us or not.
He was from Massachusetts.
In about 1984 at the Monroeville, PA Ruger collector theme show I was walking the floor and spotted two boxed Lightweights on Mr. Mongeau's table. One was an absolutely NIB Tri Color Lightweight with no chips on the cylinder and large button, serial number 204949 (blackwreath box). The other box was a green wreath, and inside was a later steel cylinder LWSC that was 98% or so (non matching green wreath of course, but I didn't care!!!).
As I was reaching in my pocket for funds, I noticed John Debrucque was about 5 paces behind.
Ah, the good ole days!! That was the only time I met Gerald I believe.
