Here's a rare Bearcat Convertible that somebody should jump on!!!

93-01864. This gun was shipped to a well known gun writer/Ruger collector as a test gun. It is one of perhaps 30 New Bearcat convertibles that is rollmarked on the left side of the cylinder frame "NEW BEARCAT". Those same 30 also had the new style loading gate with protrusion at the upper corner of the gate that fits within frame. Only about 30 of these were made, shipped to writers. Not long after these were shipped, Ruger gave the recall notice for the .22 Mag. cylinder.
