1954 Catalog - SOLD

Post by chet15 »

1954 two-page foldout catalog... introduces the Single-Six. This type catalog was first printed in 1953 but this example is the rare late 1954 issue that has additional Ruger applied blue stamps covering up the original $57.50 prices and notifying customers of the November 1, 1954 price increase to $63.25. This version of the catalog would have been used less than a year, from November 1954 to approx. August 1955 when the .357 Blackhawk was introduced.
This comes with a bonus... with this catalog came a Ruger printed 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" slip of paper that advises customers of Ruger's Distributor/Dealer process and that Ruger had over 150 distributors at the time.
Condition of the catalog is excellent plus. The slip of paper has a fold at the bottom.
$135 plus shipping and first "I'll take it".

Here is the small slip of paper included with this catalog (it came with it) which describes Ruger's distributor/dealer program.
