2015 PRONGHORN ANTELOPE

Today was a pretty day and the antelope fresh from the taxidermist, so , back to the country we went to take some photos. The rifle is a 70 series round top .257. The antelope netted 86 inches without a right prong. To say that he is a big one is an understatement. Happy hunter, yes. Dr.C

Nice one Doc. That round top in .257 is a sweet combination.

For Texas, that is one heck of an antelope! Really, it is a good one for anywhere. I think Doc has got all the good antelope in Texas cornered up there in his corner of the Panhandle.
One of those 257 Roundtops has always been on my want list; just have not found one yet at the right time and right price.

Lee: That is an 86" goat with the right prong knocked off, the state record is just 90" and that is 86" NET. Dr.C
