My gunsmith has a RMEF Millennial Red Label in 12 GA. #11 of 40. I cannot find any information on these, anywhere... Do any of you know anything about them? This particular one has a broken stock, but not sure the owner wants to fix it. Might try to buy it and get the stock replaced.

Just a WAG here.

Generally,,, when a limited number of guns is "produced" for a specific group,, such as RMEF,, there's a reason. If there were only 40 of them,, it'd likely be for a chapter/event that had a very high net fundraiser. And of course,, they get embellished for those special events,, and hopefully get used to raise even more money.

I know the FoNRA has a program,, where they have what the call the "High Caliber" event guns. And depending upon the level of how much your even raised,, will get you a very limited specially embellished gun to use at a later event.

I did a quick check of the RENE Guide,,, and didn't see a listing for them. But my Guide is a bit "old" as Chad hasn't printed an updated one in many years.

Thanks Contender. I forgot to grab the serial number when I was looking at it. I'll be over at the shop sometime this week and will get some more information, also to find out if my smith has been able to get a hold of the owner. I will try to get some pictures too.

If the owner is willing to sell it, and the price isn't stupid, I have the wife's permission to buy it and replace the wood. Just based on the name "Millennial" I'm assuming it was a 1999/2000 gun.

Yes, as mentioned you definitely need the serial number and then punch that into Ruger's serial number lookup page to see if it comes up as a different model number than Ruger's normal base model for that configuration. Chances are, RMEF had up to 40 guns customized for their own purposes, but one never knows... it could be a Ruger production item.

Ok, so it looks like RMEF did this work after it left the factory, which definitely changes the value somewhat.
What would be a reasonable value for this, with a broken stock. Rough stock for $245, matching foregrip for $170.

Figure a few hundred for fitment, a few hundred more for checkering, so probably $1k to get it back to functionally and aesthetically appealing.
