OM SS I got from my grandfather #244279

Just wanted to throw some pics of my gun that I inherited from my grandfather several years ago. Never thought too much of it at the time when I got it. When I did some research only to find out this is quite nice and very fun to shoot.
It's SN# 244279, unconverted. I have the matching magnum cylinder to boot. Going to get my letter of authenticity soon.

I knew there was something special about it! I did have a question about the mag cylinder. How come some that I see have a hand etched SN# and others are stamped like mine?
