Very nice! That's what started it all!
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...

The Red Eagles is what got me interested in chasing old Rugers.....at a local show a guy had 0265. I didn't have enough cash on me so I trade him my pocket knife and belt buckle too. Walked out happy with gunew w in one hand and the other hand holding my pants up.
best day ever.......I think I now own a dozen 265 guns

Re: Red Eagles

That is pretty cool! I’m still looking for my second 600 gun.
Re: Red Eagles
For those new to all this and still about 99% ignorant of all the knowledge what are 265 guns?

Re: Red Eagles
265 is the serial number. Each model has its own 265 serial number and the chase for matching serial numbers across models has been known to drive collectors insane, or at least into the poor house.......
