Gents, I recently purchased an estate that included a few firearms I have no interest in holding and know little about. However, both appear to be new or near new in boxes with papers and serial numbered extra cylinders. I’d like to sell them both and believe they’ll qualify as C&R eligible.

I think one is a BKH45X 45-12481 7.5” with serial numbered cylinder, box and papers in excellent condition.

The second is a BKH45XB 45-13582 7.5” with serial numbered cylinder, brass frame, SBH hammer/trigger (I think, can check again, don’t have it here in front of me), box and papers. The box is in good shape, but turned green inside, as did some of the papers.

Two beauties for sure!

Please email direct at cparios@hotmail.com and I’ll send some pics, videos and prices.
I’m near Manassas VA but frequently travel by car for business up and down the east coast, so could possibly meet to deliver to C&R holder.

I want to give a new collector a crack at these guns.

If not sold by Sept 15th they’ll go to local shop on consignment.

Wow, I'm glad I'm not on the hunt for the OM 45s right now. I checked my serial numbers just to make sure they didn't match up with the couple I already have and lucked out this time. No match. Usually when the timing is off is when the consecutive numbers show up.

By chance,,, the second one,, the one with the brass frame. You have it listed as a convertible as well. According the the RENE,, a VERY few of these guns exist,, but have never been verified.
Is that gun verified as a factory shipped convertible with the brass grip frame?

And one of those guns is just 7 numbers away from one of mine. Scared me a bit.

Sorry for the delay, I can only access this site from my desktop, which I rarely use.

I was able to contact a family member of the deceased who owned these two 45 Blackhawks.

Both are stock guns; the brass gun was on lay-away for probably a year before taking delivery, hence the scotch tape on the lid cover.
Apparently, the blued gun was never fired.

The brass gun was fired only with 45 ACPs because that was all they had. 45 LC cylinder looks new and serial numbered to gun.

Both guns were purchased from Clark Brothers Guns in Virginia about 12-18 months apart.

I'll offer them both, with all boxes, cylinders and papers, to a ROCS member for $2,000. Buyer pays shipping of choice.

I have a C&R.

I really think both should be sold together as they are excellent examples of this model and in excellent condition.

I was mistaken in an earlier post and noticed the brass gun doesn't have a SB hammer, but does have the SB trigger (see pics).

If any buyer is interested, I have an OM Super Blackhawk wide-spur hammers available for $125. One might look nice on the brass frame model as it already appears to have a SBH wide trigger.

I did not have time to research or confirm anything with Ruger for these two.

I collect 44 flatties and old Single Sixes; don't know much about these NM.

I will try to post some pics below.

I got a new iPhone so I can send some better pics if you need them.

Let me know.

Thanks!
