I picked this up a few months ago.
I think this is the first branded modification system of the most modified gun in history. Curious about Hanen being first though.
I love my early Chief AJ gun but this thing is really cool.
You can see the stock modifications and I can tell you the trigger pull is sweet.
This gun has been shot very little and always well cared for...waiting just for me

Re: Hanen Sportsman
We just heard of a Hanen that has to be one of the latest done. It is a 111- prefix with Deluxe Sporter stock.

Re: Hanen Sportsman
Who can tell me more about the 111 prefix guns that are marked with Hanen Sportsman in cursive? I had a chance at one years ago and passed because I could not find any information to support it as a true Hanen Sportsman. Note in my research It looks like Dayton Gun Headquarters went out of business or sold out back around 1973. As noted in Bill Workman's book The ruger 10/22 on pages 218-220 it list the ones stamped Hanen Sportsman were made back in 66-68 and only around 200 were made. Were did the ones from 1972 come from? Why nothing in the years inbetween?

Since the Radical One never got around to taking a picture of it, I guess I will.radicalrod wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2015 7:45 pm NICE....I need to take some pics of the one RUGER66 sold me a few years ago...
