Elephant ivory is a great compliment to one of these and the horseshoe tray was made in 1943 [dated] and I suspect it to be a project in some farrier school at that time. In any case it is an interesting piece especially if you have worked around horses hooves for 50 years like I have. Dr.C

I have always enjoyed gun pictures that include a bit of memorabilia or a nostalgic piece of the time period.
