Photos from the Oct 31-Nov 1, 2015 Annual Minnesota Weapons Collectors’ Assn Annual Trophy display competition Show. My display was The Ruger 256 Winchester magnum Single Shot Pistol. Contents included four key Hawkeyes: serial numbers 28 (Ruger Subscription Serial Number Program), consecutive serial numbers 85 and 86, and factory “S” serial number 1839(one of ten) . As pictured, various accessories included period Bushnell scopes, John Dougan’s latest book, large and small brassards, ammunition, and a Super Blackhawk factory boxed brass frame with grips, as part of the display. The display was awarded First Place in the Modern Handgun category, including a check for $300 and the customary ribboned award medal.

Now that is an educational display. Especially when most of the admirers don't even know what these Rugers are!
