Blackhawk brass frame 357 **Offering for sale removed**

Post by 101ssgt »

I have a factory brass frame 357, with letter. It's missing the roll mark on the left side, no "Ruger .357 cal Blackhawk". They only produced 570 brass frame 357's, do I think this is probably a one of. PM me with any offers but please don't lowball it. Thanks. I'm in Oklahoma, sn is 31-27654.

Very interesting BKH34B.
We request that all sellers put an asking price on their items. You can always put $XXX or best offer.
Thanks for posting this great Ruger!!

Very interesting, I have another gun that is missing the barrel address.

Do you have the box and paper work for the gun?

I have the Ruger letter and the Blackhawk book, not the box though.

You should consider bring it to our Tulas show this Nov. 12th & 13th. That would be a good place to sell it, and a great opportunity for you to visit all the displays and attend the ROCS banquet, awards ceremony, and auction.

I've thought about doing that, not really sure I want to sell it anyway. I'm pretty sure this is a one of a kind. According to the Blue Book, Ruger only produced 570 factory brass frame 357's and I'd be willing to bet there isn't another one missing the rollmarks. When I posted it on here I was really trying to get some kind of an idea of value. I'm going to the Tulsa show in August to get some opinions on it. Thanks for the advice. Always appreciate anything I can learn, especially about OM Ruger SA's.

Well, in case anyone was interested, the word I got from Mr. Hall was that it's worth is determined by the desire to own it. That's what I thought anyway, so maybe I'll just keep it. I will probably bring it to Tulsa in November for Wanamaker though.

When in Tulsa at the Wannemacher Nov. show, be sure to come down stairs to where the ROCS Displays are set up (Lower Wall just as you come down the front steps)and "Ruger Row" right across from them so we can all get a look at it.
Thanks, Bill
