Triggs won the highly coveted Remington Arms Company award with this painting, titled HEART OF GOLD, at the Society of American Historical Artists (SAHD) competition & show in 1982.

Scandalous!! I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you!.... Very nice picture of a LadySmith Revolver with an added attraction. Glad Jim Triggs won the award he did for it.

It's hard to believe it is a painting! It looks like the paper work, gun and photo were all nailed to an old cabnet door.
