ROCS 10th ANNUAL TULSA DISPLAY SHOW
|
The Tulsa Arms Show once again invited the Ruger Owners & Collectors Society (ROCS) to bring our displays to this great Tulsa Arms Show. This show has about 4,180 tables with just about anything a gun person could desire. A lot of great Rugers of all types and variations were for sale and/or trade. We want to thank all the displayers, many of whom traveled long distances, for sharing their outstanding Rugers with other collectors and the public. It was very evident that a lot of time, research and hard work was put into getting these quality displays ready for the show. We all visited the sad memorial table for our lost brother Mike Womble. Mike passed away November 5 th after a long battle with cancer. He was an active member of the ROCS Board of Directors and a serious collector of fine and rare Ruger firearms. He was a great man and is sorely missed. May he rest in peace and our prayers go out to his family. Special thanks to the Ruger Company and Turnbull company for generously donating guns for our auctions. Ruger generously donated ten Ruger firearms for our live and silent auction. Turnbull generously donated the special ROCS Mark IV set ROCS1-125 and ROCS2-125, last of the 125 sets they made for us. These donated guns were beautiful and brought in quite a few dollars for the club!! Chad Hiddleson, owner of the Red Eagle News Exchange (RENE), gave the group a great presentation at the Awards banquet of how the Red Eagle News Exchange began and progressed to where it is today |
