According to Carl Ross ,His research records show 6550 was a BB 243.

Ruger at one time had water damage I believe and lost some of there records.

All non-prefix block guns only had two sets of holes with the exception of a couple prototype guns with three. They all had Unertl type mounts. I believe Ruger went to three sets of holes around 1975-to mid 1976. I have a couple Liberty V barrel guns that only have two sets of holes.

Saw one of these in Ohio at a gun show, looked like the real deal. Most likely a special order. I think that was a 130 gun. Maybe this is the same one.

Went to the outdoor expo in Harrisburg Pa. yesterday, Largest expo in the N.E. Didnt see any Ruger representation unless Im blind.
Winchester,Remington,Henry and a bunch others. No Ruger. They dont nee the advertisement?

The splits were on the 6mm hes selling now. I talked to the seller, Thats were I found out about the splits.
