2020 FoNRA High Caliber gun

I just got the word today,, for the 2020 FoNRA events that were High Caliber events in 2019,, a special gun is available for the 2020 event. The approximate number will be about 600 guns. Of that,, the top 25 events in the country will get one with a slightly different look. SO,, the "regular ones w...

Re: Shooting my Single Actions

Don't let Ron fool ya,, he had a big smile on his face after shooting a few of his SA's. He REALLY enjoyed that 44!

This is exactly why I host the "Gathering" at my place. To have fun, shoot some guns in a very relaxed atmosphere,, and enjoy good fellowship.

Re: New Member from NC

Otis,, we are neighbors. I'm in between Salisbury and your new location. Lake Lure. Welcome!

If you have an interest in going to the ROCS Show in Ohio,, we'd always enjoy another attendee from here! I go every year that the Good Lord allows.
And I also own a "few" Rugers!

Re: Recently acquired Duplicate .357 magnum

Kudos on getting the "D" gun. I too recently got my first one as well. Close to yours. There is a "list" started by an older, (now deceased) collector, Bob Campbell, trying to get basic details on any & all OM 357's. The current custodian of the List is a guy who goes by "Ale-8-1" over on the Ruger ...

Re: Grip Repair

A few days late to this,,, but I'll offer a bit of advice. I use a small birds feather,, to apply a good wood glue into the small cracks of a broken screw hole insert. Next, I take a piece of tape, over the repair, then I use both halves, a fender washer, and a grip spacer to screw it all together &...

Re: Kelly Kimbro

I'm picking up mine this week. It has been a long time coming,,, and one I'm GLAD to finally see come together for us who enjoy all the work Kelly has done over the years!
I know many other Rugers may be rarer, more desirable or whatever,, but to me,, this one will always be VERY special.

Re: SPANISH EYE CANDY!!

As always,, a STUNNING gun to see.
If I recall correctly,,, you did a display a while back with this one,, and I seem to remember it. As I recall,,, all I could do was dream & drool!
