Re: SR .75 inch medallions

As I mentioned,, I'm not saying they are NOT from Ruger,, but it does raise questions & discussions. And with the wealth of knowledge here about Ruger authorized items,, you'd think someone else would know for sure about them. And yes,, I know many medallions,, especially the smaller ones do not hav...

Re: Hello from Tyler, Tx

Welcome Master Chief! ALL of us are accumulators of Rugers. None of us feel we "have it all or a perfect display." We shoot them, we collect them, and we display them. Don't wait,, "Just do it!" A display is a GREAT way to actually LEARN more about your own stuff. My first display was 2 tables full ...

Re: SKEETER'S SUPER SINGLE-SIX

Outstanding!

I remember when Sally was selling off Skeeter's guns. I was so broke, I couldn't have afforded the stamp to mail a letter then. But I've ALWAYS wanted a Skeeter gun,, and especially a Ruger of some sort that he actually used.

Color me jealous!

Re: SR .75 inch medallions

Interesting. Just musing out loud. The eagle's head is a different shape than most. Plus,, there isn't a registered trademark on them. And coming off sleezbay,, I often wonder about the authenticity of them. I'm NOT saying they aren't factory,, but it does cause me to pause a bit. I own a fairly goo...

Re: Blackhawk "Set" of Three Convertibles

As noted,, those guns are enjoying attention from both shooters & collectors.
I have a matching number set of the Buckeye's,, but don't have the 44-40. I wouldn't sell mine.

Re: No rifle shooters?

For the OP,, I think the answer to your question was addressed early on. Most of us collect AND shoot,, but posting stuff about shooting them is overlooked. Not as many rifle collectors,, but plenty of us shoot them, as noted by the many posts after your OP. As a handgun hunter & more often handgun ...
