Re: wanted maximum cylinder

I have one I bought for another custom project but have decided against starting another one right now. $175 shipped is what I believe I paid so you can have it for the same if you want. I don't check in here much but you can email me at kingspumping at gmail dot com.

Re: Single Six micro-sight

Serial # 404118 sir. Oh trust me, several guys have tried to teach me how to take pictures but alas no success as of yet. Even Carl's instructions can make this pigs ear into a silk purse photographer.

Single Six micro-sight

I stumbled onto this poor homeless old model single six earlier today. As soon as I saw the front and rear micro sight along with the tattered little red bag with the second cylinder I figured I better give it a temporary home. This is the first micro sighted single six I have ever seen here in Oreg...

Elmer Keith gun auction

Probably old news but apparently James Julia will be doing the auction of the Elmer Keith collection of firearms. Cabelas recently closed the museum in Boise and the family has arranged for a March auction date with the auction firm for all the Keith firearms. I know there are a lot of non Rugers in...

Re: Favorites??

The one I carry and shoot the most is probably my little OM 357 to 41 Special conversion by Horvath. It recently got a brass Powers birds head grip frame and Nutmeg ivories so it is even handier to tuck away in the horn bags on my saddle. I know on some forums if there is not a picture, the gun does...

Re: Antelope meets a Ruger

Here are a few pictures of the 414 Bill. Like I am sure you already know, the Supermag series of cartridges were all tied back to the 357 Supermag/Ruger Maximum with cases .30 inches longer than the normal magnum case. The 357, 414 and 445 were all just stretch versions of the normal parent mag case...

Antelope meets a Ruger

This is the little buck antelope I got this year with my 414 Supermag. I had Alan Harton build the gun several years ago in anticipation of drawing this tag some day. It is a 357 maximum frame that has been converted to a long cylinder 5 shot bisley with a 7 1'2: octagon barrel. I wanted to use a Fr...

Re: New arrival

Thank you for the welcome Mr. Sundermeier! I just completed my membership paperwork for the group so I should be official. Writing an article on custom revolvers would be a nice change from the normal stuff I write for our state and national organizations. What are the word limit parameters and othe...

Re: New arrival

Hi Bill, thanks for the welcome! I would love to be able to do a custom revolver display at one of the shows but there does not seem to be too many of them out here on the far west coast. Hopefully I can make next years Boise show that I know some of the collectors go to. Boise is only 8-9 hours awa...

New arrival

Gentlemen, I have to say I just found this site and it all due to a few pictures a couple of you posted on another sight of two of you both standing with Craig Boddingtons' daughter. While I agree the young lady is easy on the eyes, it was the logos on those white shirts that caught my attention and...
