Re: Blued Bisley 22

Was shipped 1985. If you go to Ruger's web site, put in the serial number, it will say no results. But if you scroll down it will give you the option of looking it up by model. Near as I can tell, yours shipped in 85, because 86 begins with 261-10138.

Re: Case color harden vaquero

The "case color" on the Vaquero's is not real case coloring, but some sort of finish meant to look like case coloring. How you could duplicate it I have no idea. You might call the good folks at Brownells and see if they have any tips.

Re: Necking down 357 to 256

I haven't done much necking down in my 30 plus years of reloading, but I will say this. Nickel plated brass cracks much, much easier and sooner than plain ol brass cases. I have had .38 Special nickel plated brass, loaded with just standard pressure loads, crack after as few as 2 reloadings. I have ...

Lounge area?

Guys, I was just wondering if you might think about adding a "Lounge" area where off topic discussions can take place? I just think it might help generate more activity on the forum.

Re: Old "Beater" finds a new home

I have always believe the P series pistols to be the most under-rated pistols ever made. I have owned several over the years, own two now, and I have never, that I can remember, have had the first stoppage. I have heard people complain about the size of them, but they are no bigger than Sigs, HK, an...

Well, this sure sounds like they intend to actually make Marlins to me:
