.44 Magnum Old Model Blackhawk
I have a .44 magnum old model Blackhawk that is unconverted for sale. The story I was told is that this gun was owned by a guide in Alaska. It has the 10.5 inch barrel, no trigger guard, and is set up for use with a scope (currently on it). It also appears to have been nickel plated at some point it...

Re: Old Model Blackhawk
Bill & Bill C., I appreciate the information. I tried to upload some pictures, but for whatever reason, the system won't comply. It does not look to me as if the gun was simply polished to remove the blueing as the finish is almost like chrome. I guess as Bill C. said, "We will never know&q...

Old Model Blackhawk
I recently acquired a stainless old model Blackhawk in .44 mag. It has a 10 inch barrel with no front sight. It has a scope mount where the iron rear sight should be. The most odd aspect of it is the grip frame. It has no trigger guard. I'm wondering if anyone has run across a similar model and coul...
