Yes, I know. The previous owner obviously didn’t know the significance of an S-serial number.

Ruger Korean War Era Pistols with Tapered Bolt Ears

I have a Ruger T678 (1953) with Flat on top and a Ruger RST-4 (1953) with the Flat on the bottom. I'd like to know which configuration is more common.

Re: Mark I, Tapered Bolt Ears Question

Thanks, Chet. If I ever see one with the flat on the bottom, I'll consider buying it just because it is different from the one I have.

Re: Mark I, Tapered Bolt Ears Question

Thanks for your reply. Was just curious if one is more "rare" than the other.

Mark I, Tapered Bolt Ears Question

I have this Mark I, T678, Serial No. 27203 with tapered bolt ears. The arbor flat is on top. I'm curious to know if that is the more common configuration, and if any member has one with the arbor flat on the bottom. https://www.jpgbox.com/jpg/63172_600x400.jpg https://www.jpgbox.com/jpg/63171_600x40...
