Thanks Radicalrod, I have heard about the Longframes. I was alway under the impression that they were Supper Blackhawk length grips, not XR3 length. I pulled the grips and i can not find a "c" anywhere on the wood grip panels or the grip frame. I have a few early medallion Super Blackhawk ...

Found something I have only heard about. But it breaks my heart.

I came across nice piece recently but I am frustrated that it has some issues. First off the right side of the revolver has very light discoloration from surface rust that was probably caused by storing it in the box. Secondly while the gun it self appears to have not been fired (I can't be positive...

Thought Jay Scott as well at first, but I have never seen a Jay Scott with a factory escutcheon. I posted another photo of the back of the grips and there is nothing to note other than the escutcheons are staked in place in a round mortise.

Hello All, I am a new member of the Ruger Society and I was hoping that I would be able to get some insight into a recent acquisition. This is a .41 mag Blackhawk made sometime in 1969. The white plastic grips are something I have never seen before. I have googled and googled but have not been able ...
