yes they were a lipseys special offering as a 1S 24" barrel. the one I happen to have appears to be fitted cicassion walnut also...
the following year they did another run 1S 24" barrel in 35 whelen and I got one of those too

just sent my creedmoor conversions to Olsons gunsmithing out in Montana based on a recommendation from a friend. Dennis called me the night I contacted him and gave me good prices and 3 month turn around. I'll let you know how it turns out...

Over the last couple of years I have managed to colllect all 4 original calibers all made in the first couple years they were in production and yep that's becoming the going price. All no 1 prices seem to be sky rocketing of late...I guess itjust makes our collections more vauable...

after 3 years and 3 months this gun has been returned to me unfinished from Tyler gun works. Along with 4 other number 1's others that have not even been touched. Think I need to start a new posting so others that are thinking about using TGW can be warned. :x

I saw that one and was very tempted . . . :lol: Are you shooting it with fixed ammunition or are you breech seating? I had a 1S relined to 32-40 a few years back and haven't shot it enough too say so. Too many rifles, too little time (or more accurately, too little good weather!) A little off topic...
