'78 .357 Blackhawk
A guy over on the Ruger forum has a '78 model that has all red stamping. Did the factory ever do this or is it something an owner has done somewhere along the way? Thanks

Older Single Six
I'm looking at an old three screw for sale locally and would like to know if this model had the larger bore or not. SN is 99xxx so it looks like it was made in '58. Thanks

WTS: Red Felt bag for SS (sm), or Blackhawk (lg) Now $8
Couldn't find any to fit my Blackhawk cylinders so I made my own...plus a few extras. If you would like one or more, I'll sell them for $8 and send them to you for free. Let me know if you want small (for SS) or large (for Blackhawk, Vaquero, etc.). PM me if interested or email gr8yt@comcast.net htt...

"R" stamp on Single Six
How much does the "R" stamp (indicating the SS has been converted at the factory) effect the value of my '64 Single Six Conv, even though original parts have been restored? Thanks

Re: Ruger 2 Million Gun Challenge-What Have You Bought?
Just picked up a NMBH 45LC/45ACP conv in 5.5". So this officially ends my search for a 45ACP cylinder for my 7.5". Now I'm setting my sights on a 357 4.62". I already bought a 9mm cylinder for it. I know, I know.....cart before the horse. But it was a sweet deal for an unused and unma...

Cost to fit cylinder
Any idea how much Ruger charges to sell and fit a 45 ACP cyl in a NMBH 45 LC?
If it wasn't sold as a convertible, will they even do it? Thanks
PS, do they sell pre paid shipping labels like some other mfg's do?

Re: Help with unconverting an OM Single Six
Ruger's dates of manufacture are misleading. I can't tell from the last picture if the rear of the cylinder has a firing pin groove in it or not. LR cylinders have the firing pin groove and Mag. cylinders do not. Also, since your gun is a 5-1/2" it would have been shipped either as RSS5W (LR o...

Re: Help with unconverting an OM Single Six
Thank you, I sent Ruger $10 for a "Certificate of Authenticity".....for whatever good that will do.
I will get that PM off as soon as I can.
