Re: P85
Mr. Findley: were there ever any prototypes that had Firehawk stamped on them or was that merely a concept that never made it to reality?

Re: P89P
Definitely interesting. I got into my LEO catalogs & all, to see what I could find. My LEO catalog collection isn't complete,,, but in 1989,,nothing about a P89 at all. In 1992,, they list a P89DA, KP89DA, KP89DAO. In 1993 they list a P89, KP89, P89DC, KP89DC, KP89DOA. In 1995/1996, (a combined...

Re: P89P
I was told that my first round of letters of authenticity are on the way from the records department. I am sure that there won't be anymore information than I was given via email, but maybe there will be a clue to point me in another direction? Hope springs eternal!

Re: P89P
Here is the response that I received today from the Ruger record department: "Our records reflect that this pistol was shipped as a KP95DAOW, model 3098, stainless, P95 pistol, double-action only. Anecdotally, we understand that the original thinking was to market this pistol to Law Enforcement...

Re: P89P
Just received an update from the records department at Ruger: " Good afternoon. I want to keep you updated. I will have your answer early next week. I am compiling the information on your pistol but there is one more person I need to discuss it with and they are on vacation until next week. Jus...

Re: KP94DLW
Ruger just auctioned one off from their collection and it sold for $1500. I have seen others for sale that have not sold for between $800 and $1200. I am not an expert, just sharing what I have seen.

Re: P89P
Here are some pictures of the mystery pistol. I have heard of P89M for the Chicago PD, but not a P89P. Linda Deprofio is looking into it at 1 Lacey Place for me to see if she can find out why it is roll marked this way. She confirmed that it is a P95DAO that was sold to one of their Law Enforcement ...
