Re: Ruger SBR
One cool benefit from buying these SBR's, one of my officers and I got to attend an 8 hour virtual AR556 armorers course from Ruger. The first hour was a history lesson on Ruger from a 30+ year employee. In his office with him he had a cutaway of Bill Ruger's protype machine gun from the WW2 era. Wh...

Re: Ruger SBR
I was reluctant for years for any type of electronic sight. At my age now, I'm not sure how I would operate without them.

Ruger SBR
Not of collectors interest yet but thought I would share my department's newest acquisition. I'm the Assistant Chief for a small department in Oklahoma. When it came time to trade off our old Rock Island Patrol Rifles, I of course had to see what Ruger might offer for law enforcement. I really like ...

Re: Any .327 shooters?
It's a fast round so therefore flat shooting. Here is a guy shooting steel at 400 yards with a single seven

Re: Finally Got A Single Seven
So although the gun shoots great I find the long barrel doesn’t balance well with the standard grip frame. Has anyone ever put a Ronnie Wells grip frame on a Single Seven? I was thinking a nice brass Bisley variation might suit it.

Re: Any .327 shooters?
I've got a 3" SP101 in .327 that I carry often and just picked up a Single Seven 7.5". The SP is fairly peppy with a .327 load in but very enjoyable to plink with .32 S&W. I haven't shot but a few cylinders through the Single Seven but they were .327. Smooth, manageable and accurate so...

Finally Got A Single Seven
Really wanted a Single Seven for the past few years but never found one at the right time/price. Yesterday in working a trade for a mower I was selling, the buyer mentioned his Single Seven he was thinking of selling. Next thing you know…

Re: Oklahoma Meat
My goal is to take a deer every year with a No.1 that I have never taken a deer with before. Gives me an excuse to always add a No.1 to the collection.
