Apparently there was a Mini 14 produced the same year that was possibly given to the FBINA Administrators/Cadre. I need both of these in my collection (as I type the word "need" my wife is shaking her head).

I don’t know about the 77s but I have a no.1 280V that was sold as a barreled action in 1985.

I only learned recently that these existed. As an avid Ruger lover and a graduate of the FBINA, I now have a new obsession to hunt down.

I think annual coins issued with a different iconic Ruger firearm on one side would make them highly collectible.

I haven’t worked up a load for this rifle yet. I have a load for my RSI with 140 Nosler ballistic tip and IMR 4350 but have also found both shoot well with factory 140gr Sellier and Beloit.
