Does anyone know why there's a cut in the top of some of the yellow and black boxes used between 1979 and 1994? The majority of the ones I've seen have been used as return boxes for old model single-action conversions with a stamp indicating original parts being inside, but I have an early MK-6 that...

Welcome to the forum Kevin. I've had a couple of the Chamber Seal RST6 pistols and you are correct there were 303 made (301 and 2 prototypes). New one to me Terry, as you know all Rugers had a prefix from 1968 on and earliest Security-Sixes were 1970. I've have a fondness of the lowbacks but this one seems sketchy to me. Thanks for showing it to us.
