Re: Lowback Security-Six dress-up

Be wild. Be daring. Be adventuresome. Put one of each on each gun. A mirror imaged matched set. Talk of the shooting range. :)

Re: RCA JOURNAL update

I just got my card and patch yesterday. Hoping that means the journal isn't far behind.

My new (to me) Blackhawk

Brought this home this evening. According to the Ruger S/N lookup the BH was shipped in 2024. There are 100 of the HSM Bear Loads (2 boxes), 100 of the Hornady Custom (5 boxes), 20 Leverevolution (1 box), 80 of the Barnes XPB bullets (4 boxes), 150 Starline brass in the bags and 50 rounds loaded min...

Re: Metal Battle Flag

I've got to figure out a way to go and to get something. Mr. Grumpy Checkbook says yes. To enough to pay the round trip. Which is also enough to get something nice. But definite no to both concurrently. Grouch.

Re: Single action suggestions?

I said yes and will go whenever is convenient for him. There's also an unknown quantity of TiteGroup powder not mentioned before. I wouldn't take or use opened powder usually but he's a long-term good friend so I trust him enough to do so. I have 2# unopened I got to eventually use in .32 family rev...

Re: Single action suggestions?

Ok, the actual reckoning. No holster as it fit, slightly loosely but adequately, in his .454 holster, or maybe .500 holster. And no dies as the dies for his .454, or something, interchanged with it. What's included: The LNIB 0405 revolver with its correct box, the A-Zoom snap caps, 2 boxes of 50 HSM...

Re: Single action suggestions?

Well, I just got back from picking up my new Super Wrangler from my FFL friend. He has a Ruger 0405 .41 Mag Blackhawk 4-5/8 he bought as hog hunting backup. It's been fired a dozen rounds. I can get it, 100 rounds of ammo, a leather holster, a set of dies, a set of A-Zoom snap caps and maybe some br...
