Re: ROCS 60th ANNIVERSARY SUPER BLACKHAWK

I'd go for a special 10/22, maybe put the ROCS brassard in the stock (or have the stock laser engraved with the ROCS logo). Then maybe a GP100 :D

Ruger Catalog Numbers

Well, on my quest to get catalog numbers for all the GP100 models I sent a message to the Contact Us on the Ruger site, sent a message to Mr. Killoy from the Ask the CEO on the site and called Ruger yesterday. Had a good conversation with a customer service rep, Tina McKenna (she is in Newport) and ...

Re: Ruger Wrangler

I hear what you're sayin' Jay. I just got my ROCS SuperBlackhawk this morning so that is my 9th SA. But I did buy 4 DA's in the last 2-3 months that will fill some holes in my DA collection (3 GP100's and a low back Speed Six).

Re: Ruger Wrangler

Now you SA guys, I don't want you to keel over but I might even get one (or two) :o . I like the Burnt Bronze color scheme and the price point is fantastic.

Re: ROCS/OGCA Show who all are displaying

Jackie and I will be there, wouldn't miss it. We'll get there Thursday evening, gives us time to relax and maybe wander around the area a while on Friday before setting up.

Re: Super GP100

With the 8 shot capacity it is being geared toward competition use, especially seeing it is made for using moon clips and is coming out of the custom shop. I like the way it looks. Just went to the custom shop section and it looks like Ruger wants to make some inroads into the revolver competitions....

Re: Got lucky today

Chuck,
That's some good stuff there. Since you did the trade I'd say you figured you came out even or ahead.

Re: My newest Ruger

Jay, That's awful tempting, but one bad thing, I'm one of those people who love seafood, but just don't like salmon. I know sacrilegious. Just never cultivated a taste for it. The wife on the other hand loves salmon, but it was SHE that has put the foot down on any of the SA's going anywhere other t...

Re: new guy in Delaware....thats between Philadelphia & Baltimore.

Welcome to a great board. The Ruger knowledge here is unfathomable. I spent 5 years at Dover AFB and had seriously considered retiring there after my USAF career.

Re: My newest Ruger

Jay - Just FYI (to make you drool :D ) the s/n is 40046 (letters as May 1956). Oh, and I didn't pay anything for it either. It was given to me for helping a woman sell the guns she inherited from her dad. She was not, at that time, gun savvy (she is now under my and others tutelage). She posted on t...
